Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU (PICU) travel position in California requiring a current CA RN license and PICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a hospital
- Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 22-week travel assignment
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Provide nursing care for critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
- Assignment follows required policies for contract duration and breaks between assignments
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 1 year of recent full-time PICU RN experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current BLS and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
- All required licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration
- Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
