Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Illinois with night shifts and current state licensure required.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
- Provides care to patients requiring close monitoring between intensive and general medical-surgical care
- Night shift position with variable scheduling
- 13-week contract assignment
- Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Must recognize and report changes in patient condition using sound clinical judgment
- Required to maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Expectations include professional communication and contribution to a positive work environment
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent PCU nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or BCLS certification
- Must maintain an active state RN license throughout employment
