Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry to deliver high-quality patient care. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient care and assess medical conditions, primarily focusing on MS and telemetry patients.
- Perform charting and documentation via Epic.
- Administer blood products and manage IV therapy, including PICC lines.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies as required.
- Provide palliative care and support to end-of-life patients.
- Maintain infection control and isolation precautions.
- Assist with gastrointestinal care, including colostomy and feeding tube management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must possess a valid nursing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a similar specialty.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications preferred.
- Experience with IV therapy and phlebotomy is required.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- EKG competency is required for this position.
