Description:
The Radiologic Technologist performs CT examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists. Responsibilities include greeting patients, explaining procedures, positioning patients, setting proper exposure factors, and ensuring high-quality radiographs while adhering to radiation safety protocols. The technologist will also process images, input data into the Radiology Information System (RIS), and report equipment malfunctions to the supervisor. This role requires knowledge of imaging equipment operation and departmental protocols to provide accurate and timely radiologic services.
Qualifications:

A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent

NYS CT license/registration

Minimum 1 year CT/MRI experience

Experience with GE or Toshiba CT systems preferred
