Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment
Location: Decatur, TX 76234 (North Texas, near Dallas-Fort Worth)
Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
Start Date: December 1, 2025
End Date: March 2, 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,260 – $1,350

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and inpatient rehabilitation patients
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
Maintain a safe, compliant, and supportive environment for patients and staff
