Job Description
American Traveler seeks a Speech Language Pathologist experienced in acute care rehab and modified barium swallow studies for a 13-week assignment in Florida.
Responsibilities
- Position is in an acute care rehab setting with 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Weekend shift coverage will be required
- Role may require floating to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the main location
- Utilizes Epic EMR system for documentation
- Candidates must not have any property ownership or cosigned properties within a strict 50-mile radius of the facility
- All time-off requests must be declared prior to consideration and will not be approved after offer
- Smoke-free work environment
- Must be willing to float to affiliated locations as needed
- No block scheduling requests will be accommodated
- Orientation involves a combination of remote and onsite sessions, including badge pick up on-site
Requirements
- Active FL Speech Language Pathologist license required for consideration
- Minimum 3 years of experience in acute care required
- Demonstrated experience with modified barium swallow studies
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
