Submission Requirements 50-mile radius rule applies. All submissions must include an unexpired driver's license. Any licensing hits must be disclosed at submission. Unit: Cath Lab / IR – RN Rooms: 2 Cath/IR labs 1 Hybrid room 7 Holding rooms Average Cases/Day: ~16 Required Certifications BLS, ACLS Patient Types / Common Procedures Cardiac: PCI, diagnostic LHC/RHC, pacemaker implants Vascular & IR cases Mediports, dialysis catheters AAA stenting (hybrid lab) Equipment: Impella, IABP, Shockwave, IVUS, FFR, iFR, swans, Rotablator Job Duties Pre-admission and post-care in Holding Procedural nursing in the lab PICC line insertion IV conscious sedation & airway management Required Experience 2+ years Cath Lab experience Prior exposure to IR & peripheral vascular cases Experience using Impella, IABP, Shockwave, IVUS, FFR/iFR, swans, Rotablator Comfortable with conscious sedation Able to read & interpret telemetry rhythms Equipment & EMR GE MacLab (transitioning to Philips Xper in 2025) Scheduling & Call 3×12-hour shifts, 05:30–18:00 On-call after 18:00, weekends, and holidays Weeknight call: 1–2 days per week Weekend call: 1 weekend every 4 weeks Holiday call: Possible; depends on rotation Call response time: 30 minutes 4-person team: 2 RNs + 2 CV Techs Staffing 6 Cath Lab Techs Charge nurse present and assists with workflow Other Details No floating required Scrubs provided (royal blue) Orientation: 2–3 shifts with a preceptor
