Job Details:
• Work variable 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and/or 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 10-week contract length
• Rotate every 3rd weekend depending on time off requested
• Holiday coverage as scheduled outside of requested time off
• Floating to pediatrics unit required as census dictates
• No on-call requirements, but may be placed on call or cancelled when picking up extra shifts
• Minimum 3 years Level III or Level IV NICU experience required
• PEDS experience preferred
• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:2 or 1:3 depending on acuity
• Work in 22-bed Level III NICU unit
• Required certifications: WI or compact RN License, AHA BLS, and NRP
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• EPIC charting system preferred
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Professional scrubs of any color permitted
• Single small nose stud permitted, no other visible body piercings except ears
