General/GYN/Urology/Peripheral Vascular (PV)
Must be able to circulate cases including:
Bowel resections
Laparoscopic procedures
daVinci Xi cases
Urology (open & scope)
Peripheral vascular
Bariatrics
GYN (open & vaginal)
C-sections
Lap appy and lap chole
Ortho
Must be able to circulate:
Total joints (with or without MAKO robot)—knees, hips, shoulders, ankles
Arthroscopy
Ortho trauma
C-sections, lap appy, lap chole, bowel resections
Neuro/ENT/Oral/Plastics
Must be able to circulate:
Trach
ENT (T&A, BMT, FESS)
Plastics
Breast reductions
Spine fusions, laminectomy
Craniotomy
Facial fractures
Laryngoscopy/Bronchoscopy
Neck dissections
Plus c-sections, lap appy, lap chole, bowel resections
Specializations (must be strong in at least one of the following):
Ortho
Neuro/ENT/Oral/Plastics
CV-T (also helps cover Peripheral Vascular)
General/GYN/Urology/PV
Scrubbing Required for RNs: No
OR Techs: Yes
Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Both available; OR always staffed 24/7 with a minimum of one RN and one ST.
Shifts & Scheduling
Primarily day shift: 07:00–15:30, 07:00–17:30, or 07:00–19:30
RNs work one week of PMs (15:00–23:30) approximately every 5 weeks
Night shift (23:00–07:00) possible with facility experience
8-hour or 10-hour shifts available
12-hour shifts only after first contract (subject to staffing availability)
Call Requirements
Weeknight Call: 1–2 nights per week (end of shift to 07:00)
Weekend Call: 1 weekend every 5–6 weeks
Holiday Call: At least one holiday per year
Call Response Times:
Call Team 1: 30 minutes
Call Teams 2–4: 45 minutes
Additional Requirements
Floating required to the Outpatient Surgery Center across campus
Orientation: 2–3 days with the educator plus CBTs; 1–2 weeks of case-based training
Submission Requirement: Must note if the clinician has ever worked for Marshfield
If previously employed, end date must be 6 months or more prior to submission
All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
