Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology
Job Details:
• Work 5x8 hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• 1 year of experience required, first-time travelers accepted with previous experience
• Perform diagnostic catheterizations (adult), permanent pacemaker insertions, pulmonary artery insertions, right heart catheterizations, temporary pacemakers, and conduction studies
• Handle insertion and programming of AICDs and pacemaker insertions
• Patient ratio of 1:1 in a 2-room, 2-bed unit
• Work with Epic charting system
• Possible floating to like units
• Required certifications: ARRT/CCI, BLS, ACLS
• Must have SCQRSA licensure
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency
• 40-hour orientation required
• Average 4 hours of non-billable modules completed pre-start
• Must be available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
