Compensation

- Location: Bemidji, MN 56601 (Northern Minnesota healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026)
- Clinical Setting: OB/Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery, Pediatrics, GYN, Med-Surg overflow
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (rotating holidays, every 3rd weekend)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Employment Type: Travel RN contract
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent OB/Labor & Delivery nursing experience (including Postpartum and Pediatrics)
- Active Minnesota RN license (Minnesota nursing jobs)
- BLS (AHA) certification
- ACLS (AHA) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- EPIC EMR experience preferred; other electronic medical record experience considered
- Flexibility to float to Med-Surg and Telemetry units as needed
- Ability to provide care in Labor, Postpartum, Nursery, and Pediatrics settings
- If previously employed at Sanford Health, a 6-month gap is required before reapplying
RN Responsibilities – Healthcare Jobs
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to postpartum, stable antepartum, pediatric, newborn, GYN, and Med-Surg overflow patients
- Serve as 2nd RN in the Special Care Nursery (SCN) as needed
- Operate clinical equipment: EPIC One Chart, Acudose, Philips Vitals Machines, Bladder Scanner, Medula Breast Pumps, Responder 5 Call light system, Medfusion Pumps
- Collaborate with ward clerks, CNAs, charge/resource nurses, and LPN scrub nurses
- Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:3 mom/baby couplets, 1:5 GYN/Med-Surg, 1:3-4 pediatrics
- Participate in unit orientation and equipment training on your first day
- Follow facility policies, including badging in/out and wearing navy blue scrubs
