Job Summary:
The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) provides perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the surgical process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients, equipment, and operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Provide intraoperative nursing care as a circulator and/or scrub nurse.
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure adherence to surgical safety protocols.
- Monitor patient condition, document care, and respond to intra-operative changes.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and peri-operative staff for seamless care delivery.
