Job Summary:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Key West, FL. The RN will provide comprehensive care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases, including L&D, postpartum, and nursery care. This is a fast-paced role requiring critical thinking, leadership, and flexibility to float to other units as needed.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal phases

Monitor maternal and fetal status, including electronic fetal monitoring

Assist with deliveries, postpartum care, and neonatal assessment

Administer medications and interventions as prescribed

Delegate and supervise patient care tasks based on staff competency

Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and multidisciplinary teams

Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards

Float to Mother-Baby or Nursery units as needed
Requirements:
-
Minimum 2 years of prior travel RN experience
-
Experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, Mother/Baby, and nursery care
-
ACLS, BLS, NRP required (PALS can be obtained within 30 days of start if needed)

AWHONN certification preferred (can be completed onsite)

Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong critical thinking and leadership skills

Must meet Florida AHCA requirements for nurse licensure
