Role/Unit: Level 2 ICU/IMCU RN (24 beds) with open-heart program, neuro surgery, cath lab support, Level II trauma, and CRRT; Cerner
Openings/Shifts: 1 day (7a–7p) and 2 nights (7p–7a); 36 hrs/week, every other weekend; may be placed on call if census drops
Ratios/Equipment: ICU 1:2 (IMCU 1:3); Baxter pumps, Omnicell, Prismaflex CRRT, Impella/IABP, EVD/bolt monitoring, vents/BiPAP/HFNC
Requirements: 2+ years ICU, strong care of vented ICU patients; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; must float (rotation with travelers)
Preferred: CVICU/Neuro ICU, organ donation, pediatric DKA experience
Patient mix: Post–open heart, HF/resp failure, trauma/surgical ICU, stroke w/ lytics, post-crani, septic shock
