RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in a 101-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios typically 4:1 for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
• Schedule includes every other weekend requirement; must meet departmental scheduling needs
• Float to all sections within the Emergency Department (no floating outside ED)
• Work with Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation system
• 2 years nursing experience required with at least 1 year in ER setting
• Experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume >100,000 visit ED preferred
• Previous HCA experience preferred
• Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real time
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department required
• Required certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Navy scrubs required dress code
• Follow AIDET protocols, maintain respectful patient behavior, ensure positive patient experience
• Keep patient boards updated with information throughout visit
• Support available from techs in cardiac monitoring, internal processing, and triage areas
