Department: OR (RN) *Certifications Required: BLS & ACLS* - # of Suites: 7 ORs, 2 Endo suites - Common Cases: Adults, geriatrics, Peds, Obstetric. Neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, general, Davinci robotics - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Staff must be well versed on all surgical procedures since we don't have specialized teams for each service line - Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Charge nurse - OR techs?: Yes - EMR: EPIC - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 0630-1500 // All staff are scheduled 5 days a week - Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1 night a week on call - Weekend/Call Requirements: Every 5th or 6th weekend (Sat/Sun) on call - Holiday/Call Requirements: Rotating holiday call - Floating Requirements: Pre/Post op, PACU if trained, ER for trauma cases
