Title: CT Technologist – Radiology / Imaging Services
Location: Petaluma, CA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 4x10-Hour (07:00–17:30), variable start times (07:00 or 11:30)
Job Responsibilities:

Perform CT imaging procedures of the head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and musculoskeletal system with and without contrast

Conduct CT angiography (CTA) and vascular imaging studies as ordered

Perform image post-processing including multiplanar reconstructions (MPR)

Prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with safety protocols

Start peripheral IVs as needed for contrast administration

Assist with special procedures including CT-guided biopsies, aspirations, arthrography, and drainage procedures as assigned

Operate CT imaging equipment and PACS systems to ensure optimal image quality

Support imaging needs in the Emergency Department, outpatient, and adult acute care settings

Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic imaging

Float between CT and X-ray units and assist with OR imaging support including C-arm usage as needed

Maintain patient safety, radiation safety standards, and infection control practices
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
-
CT and X-ray experience required
-
Community hospital experience required
-
Experience in adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency imaging settings

Proficiency with CT procedures including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head, spine, and vascular CTA
-
Experience with PACS and Philips CT equipment preferred

Ability to float between like units and work on-call as required
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-
ARRT (R) certification (required)
-
BLS – American Heart Association (required)
-
California Radiologic Technologist License (required, in hand)

Fluoroscopy Permit (required)
