RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Seasonal travel position working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work on MS ORTHO 612, a 20-bed orthopedic unit located on 9 South in the main hospital
• Maintain 1:5 nursing ratio with independent patient care responsibilities
• Care for 5 patients independently on surgical unit
• Work with diverse patient population including elective orthopedic patients and orthopedic trauma patients
• Perform typical procedures including dressing changes and aspiration
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Must have experience on surgical unit and ability to work independently with 5 patients
• Orthopedic experience and pain management experience preferred
• Positive attitude and team player mentality essential
• Work alongside dedicated nursing team with 1 charge nurse and 4 nurses per night shift
