RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:

Job Details:
• Provide general medical surgical care on a 23-bed unit
• Required to work 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Must work 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays
• May float to other med surg units and telemetry as needed
• Work with equipment including Pyxis, hoyer lift, sara steady, Welch Allen VS machines, Dynamaps, and hover mat for patient transfers
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs with navy, black or white jacket and undershirt
• Required certifications: RN license, BLS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, NIH CPI
• Must have inpatient hospital nursing experience
• Work alongside charge nurses, RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and unit secretary on day shift; charge nurses, RNs, LPNs, and PCTs on night shift
• Must demonstrate patient focus, attention to detail, team player mentality, and positive attitude
