Job Details:
• Work day shift Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No on-call, holiday, or weekend requirements
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Must know how to perform breast biopsies
• Perform mammography exams according to department procedures
• Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions
• Review radiographic images for clinically acceptable results
• Position patients and set up equipment for imaging services
• Maintain minimum FDA/MQSA requirements for continuing education and experience
• Produce acceptable images with a first-time acceptance rate of 95 percent
• Complete quality control tests including phantom, visual checklist, and repeat analysis
• Maintain patient follow-up data and complete charging activities
• Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiology Technology required
• Currently ARRT registered with ARRT Mammography and Radiography certifications required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Rad Tech required
• Minimum 1 year experience in Mammography preferred
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must function independently under pressure while participating in team environment
