Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring specialty certification and a current active RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Care Center of a hospital setting
- Direct patient care for emergency and acute cases
- Day shift from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- 13-week travel contract assignment
- Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a high-acuity setting
- Must have all certifications active with no expiration within the first 30 days of assignment
- Documentation and credentialing will require submission of SSN, DOB, licensing, and certification documents
Requirements
- Active RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency department RN experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS and ACLS certifications
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification or equivalent (SAMA, MAB, ACPMA) required for all ER units
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
