Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position, requiring a NC or compact RN license and recent telemetry and med/surg experience.
Responsibilities
- Work on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
- Cares for adult general medical-surgical patients with telemetry monitoring
- 12-hour PM shifts
- Epic EMR experience is preferred
- May be required to float to a COVID unit as needed
- Expected to provide competent, evidence-based nursing care to a general adult patient population
- Must be able to float between units depending on facility needs
- Teamwork and adaptability are essential
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, with NIHSS completed within the last year
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing with telemetry required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility for consideration
