Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR or Cath Lab experience and ARRT, NYS Radiologic Technologist License, and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Neuro Interventional Radiology department under the direction of physicians and interventional radiologists
- Responsibilities include operating fluoroscopic equipment, processing films, uploading images to the Radiology Information System, and assisting with billing data entry
- Assist physicians with neuro endovascular angiography, vascular angiography, and other specialized interventional procedures
- Assigned hospital OR scrubs are required
- Rotating call schedule includes call coverage on weekends and holidays
- Technologists are responsible for scrubbing in and assisting physicians during various neuro and vascular procedures
- Must be able to efficiently operate fluoroscopic equipment and electronic health record systems as necessary
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification required
- NYS Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab
- Familiarity with neuro interventional procedures preferred
