Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position requiring at least 1 year of recent experience and a valid PT license.
Responsibilities
- Home health setting covering a territory within a 50-75 mile radius, from Visalia to Porterville and Fresno
- Average caseload of 4-7 patients per day
- 30 productivity points per week required
- Types of cases include start of care assessments and follow-ups
- Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
- Documentation is done using Wellsky Kinzer EMR
- Responsibilities include SOC assessments, follow-up visits, and managing a daily patient caseload
- Orientation is held in Salida, CA
- Scrubs or business casual attire is permitted
- Locals are accepted for this position
- First-time travelers will not be considered
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year recent home health PT experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Active and valid Physical Therapy license required for consideration
- Spanish speaking preferred
- Pending licenses are not accepted
- Experience with Wellsky Kinzer charting preferred
