Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
CT Technologist - CT Tech
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Perform radiographic procedures at technical level without constant supervision
• Conduct general diagnostic, portable, bedside, and Computed Tomography (CT) exams
• Use radiographic and computed tomography equipment inside the department
• Utilize portable and C-Arm equipment in hospital and operating room settings
• Maintain radiation doses as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA) principles
• Read requisitions, use anatomy knowledge for proper positioning, and obtain optimum image quality
• Assess patient conditions and communicate with patients based on age and mental status
• Review images for quality and positioning, repeating when necessary
• Use sterile technique when drawing contrast solutions and connecting tubing
• Follow department protocol manual for views, cassette size, and positioning
• Wear radiation monitoring device at all times in radiation areas
• At least three years of imaging experience with CT experience required
• Must maintain current Washington State DOH Certified Radiologic Technologist license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• ARRT (R) Registration required
• Successful completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program required
