Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate must have an active HWC or CPI certification and possess strong patient care skills in a behavioral health setting. You will be responsible for caring for adults with a variety of psychiatric conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to adult patients in a behavioral health unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting progress and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Participate in patient care planning and discharge planning.
- Support patients in their spiritual and emotional well-being through therapeutic interactions.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- MUST HAVE ACTIVE HWC OR CPI CERTIFICATION
- BLS Certification required.
- Previous experience in behavioral health preferred.
