Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room - Travel - (Cardiac - OR - CVOR RN)
StartDate: 1/19/2026 Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $2222.00 - $2359.00

General Information: Number of ORs: 2 CV ORs Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? If not, what is the minimum years of experience accepted? Would prefer at least 2 years of experience. Will you accept a first-time traveler? Would prefer not to *We desperately need a strong CV CST, if we cannot find an applicant with experience, we will be open to interviewing someone with 1 year CV experience as a last resort Case Types: CABG, VATS, Fistula Creation/Revision, Pleurx, Permcath Insertion, Amputation, Angiogram, Venogram, Angiogram, Endarterectomy, etc Average # of cases performed in a day: 1-3 generally, sometimes 5-6 Required Licensure and Certifications: RN: BLS, ACLS Scrub Tech: BLS, National certification (CST) – NBSTSA required – MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH PROFILE Nursing Assistant: BLS First Assist: BLS, National certification (CSFA) – NBSTSA required - MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH PROFILE Skills required: RN: able to circulate above cases Scrub Tech: able to scrub above cases independently Nursing Assistant: general knowledge of the OR First Assist (if applicable): able to assist independently Technology/Equipment: EMR: Epic IV pumps: Alaris Medication dispensing: Omnicell Floating: Not required, but if they have main OR experience and would be willing to float if needed that would help ensure they aren’t flexed on light days. Orientation: Dependent on skill level of applicant Scheduling: Weekend rotation: every other weekend On call? If so, what is that schedule? Scrub Tech: every other day & every other weekend Holiday Expectations: Hospital recognized holidays are call-only RTO: Manager approval Shift times: In general, Monday – Friday, 6:30-3p but when a CABG is posted arrival time is earlier Other notes: Scrub Color: hospital provided Parking: free, staff parking lot and parking deck available
