- Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 7am–7:30pm / Night: 7pm–7:30am)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel Contract
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license (required for Ohio healthcare jobs)
- Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all active)
- One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in specialty required
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
- Ability to work at least every other holiday
Travel RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Participate in unit orientation, including required clinical assessments and training modules
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
- Float to other hospital units as needed to support clinical operations
