Registered Respiratory Therapist Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Pennsylvania state respiratory therapist license (or eligibility)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an RRT in a hospital or acute care setting
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment
Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care and clinical support to patients in a hospital setting
- Administer and monitor respiratory therapy treatments, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy
