Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient ortho setting, requiring more than 3 years of recent experience.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting
- Day shifts of 8 hours each
- Productivity expectation of 60 visits per week, with a daily caseload of 12-14 patients
- Patient population includes general orthopedic cases
- Double-booking of follow-up visits is standard practice
- No floating to other clinics
- No on-call requirements
- Duties include conducting patient evaluations, developing plans of care, and providing physical therapy treatments for general ortho cases
- No floating required; work will be limited to the primary clinic
- Expectation to work up to 40 hours per week as needed
- Local candidates must live more than 50 miles from the clinic to qualify as travelers due to pay rates
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license required if applicable
- More than 3 years of recent and relevant outpatient experience is mandatory
- Outpatient experience is preferred
- Not open to new graduates
- Does not accept PTA candidates
- Not open to first-time travelers
