The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient-centered care through comprehensive assessment, care planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and reassessments in accordance with facility policies and procedures, or as required by changes in patient condition
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and the ability to make independent nursing decisions
- Initiate, prioritize, and implement individualized plans of care
- Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise plans of care as clinically indicated
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal outcomes
- Utilize organizational and clinical resources appropriately to meet patient, family, and facility needs
