RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Must have Level 1 ED charge nurse experience
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in emergency room setting
• Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume emergency department experience required (>100,000 visits)
• Previous HCA experience preferred
• Work every other weekend with flexible scheduling to meet department needs
• Patient ratios typically 4:1 for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
• Must be willing to float to all sections within the emergency department (no floating outside ED)
• Work with 101-bed emergency department using Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation system
• Required certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Follow AIDET protocols, maintain respectful patient interactions, and keep patient boards updated
• Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and provide real-time feedback
• Navy scrubs required uniform
• Support provided by techs in cardiac monitoring, triage, and internal processing areas with unit clerks available days and nights
