Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for circulating and scrubbing for cesarean sections, as well as providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers and newborns. Candidates must be adaptable and willing to float between multiple facilities as needed.
Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub for cesarean sections.
- Provide high-quality care in labor and delivery, including antepartum and postpartum care.
- Perform assessments and interpret telemetry readings.
- Work as part of a collaborative team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Assist with various procedures, including amniocentesis and high-risk deliveries.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active New Jersey RN license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
- Must pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing.
- EPIC charting experience is required.
- 1:6 patient ratio experience is necessary.
- First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred.
