About the unit(s):
· Number of Beds – 47 beds
· Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 1 Director, 1 Manager, 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator, 8-12 RNs, 1-5 PCTs
o Night Shift – 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator, 8-12 RNs, 1-5 PCTS
· Patient Ratios – 4-6 depending on acuity
· Type of equipment – Alaris pumps, PYXIS machine, Epicardial pacing boxes, LVAD equipment
· EMR – Meditech
Typical procedures performed on unit(s):
· Blood transfusions, IV drip titration, pain medication and medication administration, etc.
