Schedule: 4×10s
Call: Two weekdays per week (5:00 PM–7:00 PM or end of shift to 7:00 PM) and one weekend (Sat–Sun) every 3rd weekend. Weekend call is 24 hours/day.
Role: RN First Assist. Under the direction of the OR Nurse Manager, assists the surgeon in a lead role through completion of the procedure. May circulate as needed.
Requirements:
Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
Active MA RN license
BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
ACLS
Completion of an AORN-compliant RN First Assisting course
5 years diversified perioperative experience with scrub and circulate proficiency
