Facility/Unit: Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (341 beds) | PCU – Progressive Care/Tele (Acute inpatient) | Trauma Level II
Shift/Hours: 7A–7P or 7P–7A (posted schedule) | Weekends: usually every other | Holidays: if needed | No call
Ratios/Support: 3:1 | PCT/CNA support (3 per shift) | Telemetry tech support
Charting/Systems: Epic | Meds: MAK
Requirements: 1+ year RN + 1+ year PCU/Tele | BLS + ACLS (required) | Telemetry required | Travel preferred (not required) | Teaching exp not required
Skills/Patient types: ACS/CHF, insulin + cardiac drips (minimal titration), post PTCA/stents/sheaths, ETOH withdrawal, BiPAP/CPAP, hypotension/hemodynamic instability, cardioversion, carotid/vascular surgery, post-cath care, IV starts/venipuncture/EKGs
Floating: Yes – expected to be part of Resource Float (traveler floats first to appropriate units)
