Required: 5 years ICU, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS
Float: CVICU overflow, CC Stepdown, Med-Surg (if critical care staffed)

Ratios: CCU/CVICU 1:2–1:3 | CCSD 1:4–1:5 | Med-Surg 1:6
Charting: Meditech (Clinical Access for ICU)
Equipment: vents, telemetry/Spacelabs, IV pumps, CRRT (Prismaflex), IABP, Arctic Sun/Blanketrol, rapid transfusion
Must-have skills
Critical care drips/titration, vents, A-lines, central lines, chest tubes
IV starts/blood draws, NG placement, rhythm + lab/ABG interpretation
Assist with bedside procedures + conscious sedation; strong communication/time management
Uses TigerConnect (smartphone) for provider comms
