Position: RN – Cardiac Tele / PCU (Cone Health) Shift: Night | 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Schedule: Up to every other weekend Weekend requirement: 5 weekend shifts every 6 weeks (same for staff & travelers) Floating: Required – may float to all Cone Health campuses Experience: Minimum 2 years First-time travelers: Accepted Mandatory Questionnaire (Required for Offer) Is the candidate aware they are being submitted to Cone Health and has the job description been reviewed? Y / N Is the candidate flexible with scheduling and aware of the zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences? Y / N Are there any barriers (e.g., vacation) that could prevent timely compliance? Compliance deadline: Wednesday prior to start date at 12:00 PM EST Y / N Is the candidate aware of the Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all Cone Health RNs? Y / N Required Certifications BLS ACLS Required Experience & Skills Cardiac Telemetry & PCU experience required Use of Rapid Response Teams Post-MI care Pre/Post Cardiac Cath (with and without intervention) TR bands Central lines, PICC lines, CVP monitoring EPIC charting Patient Population / Focus Acute Coronary Syndrome Chest Pain, STEMI, NSTEMI Arrhythmias, syncope New onset & chronic A-fib (including Tikosyn load) Pre/Post EP Lab (Pacemaker & ICD placement) New onset & chronic Heart Failure Overflow Progressive Care level patients
