Job Description
We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team in the Critical Care Unit (CICU). Candidates must be adept in managing critical patients, including those requiring advanced ventilatory support and hemodynamic monitoring. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient conditions requiring intensive care
- Administer medication, including titration of vesicant medications
- Utilize advanced equipment such as ventilators and telemetry units
- Provide sedatives and paralytics as necessary
- Interpret telemetry data and understand hemodynamics
- Perform procedures including central line insertion, cardioversion, and thoracentesis
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Valid RN license with ICU experience required
- Familiarity with pressors, sedation, paralytics, and ventilator management
- Understanding of PA catheter setup and interpretation
- Experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT is appreciated
- No specific certifications required, CCRN is preferred
