Unit Details
- Number of Beds: 10
- Total Staff: ~120
- Staffing Model:
- Day & Night Shift: Charge Nurse, Unit Clerk, Scrub Tech, RNs based on census
- Patient Ratios: Per CA Title 22
- EMR: Meditech / CPN
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and other L&D-related procedures
- Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia, and surgical teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
- Adhere to unit policies, patient safety standards, and hospital protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN License (Required at submission)
- Minimum 4+ years of L&D experience
- BLS Certification
- Resume required at submission
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently on nights

- Vaginal deliveries
- Cesarean sections
- L&D operating room–related cases
Schedule & Requirements
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekends: Rotating weekends per CBA
- Floating: As needed (unit-based)

Compensation
- Gross Weekly Pay: $3,248
- Weekly Stipend: $1,988
- W2 Taxable Rate: $30/hr
