• Active RN license required; Required: Illinois license, or willingness to obtain
• RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant) certification required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent RNFA experience in an acute care or surgical setting
• Demonstrated experience assisting in a variety of surgical procedures and working directly with surgeons in the first-assist role
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative patient care
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and maintain a clean, organized operative field
• Experience with pre-operative and post-operative patient assessment and documentation
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced OR environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and perioperative documentation systems
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
