Facility Overview
- Level II Trauma Center
- Mid-sized acute care hospital (150–500 beds)
- W-2 employment required through submitting agency
Assignment Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift (12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM start time)
- Holiday Coverage: Required
- Floating: Required to float to other units, including Med/Surg and other critical care areas as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill adult patients in ICU/CCU
- Monitor and manage life-support systems and advanced cardiac care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR system
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence
Minimum Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in EPIC charting system
- Willingness to float as needed
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
