Critical Care Registered Nurse
Job Description
Critical care registered nurses are adept at providing care in settings where patients have suffered severe medical issues. Their expertise includes assessing patient conditions, planning and implementing care plans, and providing advanced life support.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient conditions and developing care plans
- Treating wounds and administering advanced life support
- Assisting physicians in procedures
- Observing and recording patient vital signs
- Ensuring proper functioning of medical equipment such as ventilators
- Administering intravenous fluids and medications
- Collaborating with the critical care team
- Responding to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols
- Acting as a patient advocate and providing education and support to families
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in LTACH, trach & vent, and wound care
- Must have ACLS & BLS certifications (American Heart Association required)
- Ohio RN or multi-state RN license required
Schedule
This role requires a schedule from 19:00 to 07:30.
