RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work night shift 3x12 schedule with 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Rotating weekend requirement with expectation of every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• Patient ratio of 3-4:1 in cardiac transitional care unit
• Must float as needed within facility
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• 1+ years of nursing experience required
• Black scrubs required for dress code
• Work with usual stepdown equipment and EPIC EMR system
• Care for cardiac stepdown patients requiring monitoring and intervention
• Provide physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families
• Administer medications, wound care, and personalized interventions
• IV therapy competency including central line care required
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and documentation skills
• Supervise and delegate duties to unlicensed assistive personnel
• Contract duration of 13-26 weeks with up to 5 days requested time off automatically approved per 13-week period
• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
• Team player personality fit essential for collaborative healthcare environment
