SUMMARY:

Monitoring maternal and fetal vitals, assisting during childbirth, providing patient education, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians for high-risk care.

Monitor fetal heart rate and uterine contractions, manage pain, assist with breathing techniques, and support physicians/midwives during vaginal or cesarean deliveries.

Assess maternal recovery, provide breastfeeding support, and perform neonatal assessments (vital signs, weight, medication administration).

Recognize and respond to complications (e.g., fetal distress, hemorrhage) and ensure patient safety through careful monitoring.
