Job Title: Pre-Op / PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 4 Weeks
Schedule: 4x10.5-hour shifts | Weekdays Only
Shift Time: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Patient Population: Adults
Schedule assurance weekly hours: 16 hours /wk
Compensation
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Operative Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments and verify medical history
- Initiate IV access and administer medications per protocol
- Provide patient education and procedural preparation
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with safety standards
PACU (Phase II Recovery) Duties:
- Monitor patients recovering from moderate/conscious sedation and MAC anesthesia
- Assess airway, vital signs, pain level, and overall recovery status
- Identify and respond to complications promptly
- Provide discharge instructions and patient/family education
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
- Active Washington State RN License
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Washington State Suicide Prevention Certificate
- Washington State Multistate Nurse Demographic Data Survey completion
- Minimum 1 year of Pre-Op and/or PACU RN experience
