Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM (8.5-hour shifts with 30-minute lunch); 40 hours/week guaranteed. During holiday weeks, 10-hour shifts may be required to maintain 40 hours. No weekends. No call.
Job Responsibilities:

Deliver radiation therapy treatments to adolescent, adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients in a teaching hospital setting

Perform treatments in adult acute care, adult outpatient, pediatric acute care, and pediatric outpatient settings
-
Operate Varian TrueBeam, Halcyon, and ARIA (v15) systems
-
Perform CBCT/kV/mV imaging for beam modifying and positioning
-
Provide Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), craniospinal treatments, prostate cancer treatments with seeds/fiducials, heterotopic bone treatments, and electron field therapy

Administer Total Body Irradiation (TBI), Total Skin Irradiation (TSI), prophylactic treatments, and treatments for Graves' disease and keloids (preferred)

Treat diagnoses including head & neck (H&N), CNS (brain/spinal cord), pancreatic cancer, pediatric cancer, Hodgkin's lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, kidney cancer, leukemia, testicular cancer

Perform dosimetry-related tasks as applicable

Conduct chart checks and ensure treatment accuracy and safety

Respond to emergency cases; operate crash cart and defibrillator as needed

Utilize DIBH (Deep Inspiration Breath Hold) techniques (preferred)

Knowledge of Vision RT/OSMS preferred

Float within scope if required
Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience (5 years preferred)

ARRT (T) – Radiation Therapy certification

Active Ohio state license (in hand at submission)

BLS certification
-
ACLS certification
-
Full competency on Varian TrueBeam, Halcyon, and ARIA
-
Experience treating Head & Neck (H&N) and CNS (Brain/Spinal Cord) cases
Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching hospital experience

Experience with Vision RT or OSMS

Experience treating neonates and infants
-
Experience with Total Body Irradiation and Total Skin Irradiation

Experience with pediatric oncology cases
