Job Description
Join our dynamic team on an inpatient overflow unit with a mixed level of care, primarily focused on medical surgical and step-down patients. This unit aims to manage quick turnovers, with a target length of stay of 24 hours for short stay patients.
Responsibilities
- Monitor telemetry for assigned patients, ensuring all telemetry monitoring requirements are met.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with varying levels of acuity.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Assist in the swift discharge and turnover of patients to maintain unit efficiency.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have telemetry competency and recent progressive care experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- A positive attitude, strong patient experience focus, kindness, and compassion are essential for fitting into our team culture.
