Strong critical thinking skills
Minimum 2-3 years or more ICU experience
ACLS
BLS
NIH Stoke Certification

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first)

MICU & MSICU background
IABP exposure
CRRT exposure
Meditech experience preferred

Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)

ACTIVE TX RN License – TEMP LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

Procedures performed on unit:

Chest tubes, tracks, GI scopes
Intubations, central lines, art lines
NG Tubes, Foley Catheters, Dressing Changes

Assignment Length: 13 / 26 weeks Shift/Workdays: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A Weekend – Rotating Call Requirements: No Guaranteed Hours: 36 Special Skills/Experience required: 2 Years + ***All travelers are required to float, while on the interview please inform traveler of the Methodist Floating Policy*** Unit Specifics - Information below is requested for better sourcing: Documentation system: Meditech Unit Guidelines: Badging in and out for shift is required along with taking a full 30-minute lunch. Be on time for scheduled shifts (Clock in time 6:38 am/pm, after 6:45 is considered tardy)
