- Thursday & Friday: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 2:30 AM
- No weekends
- No on-call requirements
Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled CT Technologist to join a fast-paced imaging department in Cedar Rapids, IA.
- This facility operates one of the busiest emergency departments in Iowa and is a certified Stroke Center, performing a high volume of advanced neuro and brain perfusion studies.
- The ideal candidate will be confident working independently on night shift and comfortable in a high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Conduct advanced neuro imaging, including brain perfusion studies
- Utilize RapidAI software for Intracranial Hemorrhage (ICH) analysis
- Operate Toshiba Aquilion One 640-slice and Siemens 128-slice CT scanners
- Ensure accurate image acquisition and transfer via EPIC and McKesson PACS systems
- Collaborate with radiologists using Real Radiology for after-hours interpretation
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and compliance with radiation safety standards
- Accurately document procedures and maintain imaging records

Required Qualifications
- ARRT (CT) certification – Required
- Minimum 24 months of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting – Required
- Experience with:
- Toshiba Aquilion One 640-slice scanner – Required
- Siemens 128-slice scanner – Required
- Iowa Radiology License – Required
- Non-licensed candidates will be accepted but must apply upon offer acceptance
Certifications Required
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)

- Strong emergency and stroke imaging experience
- Comfortable working independently during night shifts
- Ability to manage steady patient volume efficiently
- Detail-oriented with excellent clinical judgment
